Elysa is a Registered Psychologist through the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA), as well as a credentialled School Psychologist (USA). She holds an MEd in Educational Psychology from the University of Calgary, an MA in Education from UC Berkeley, and a BA in Psychology from Cornell University.
Elysa is originally from the United States and currently lives in Australia. She has experience working with students in American and Australian school systems, including homeschool students. Having spent more than fifteen years in Asia and Europe working with expatriate families at K-12 international schools, Elysa is also knowledgeable about international schools and curricula (e.g., IB Programmes), and the unique needs of overseas families. Elysa is experienced in providing remote (online) psychoeducational assessments for expatriate children, as well as those in in Australia and the United States. Having additional experience as a classroom teacher, Elysa believes collaboration with parents and educators is a key component of the assessment process.

Laura has been an educator for 20 years. Originally from Australia, she worked internationally for 15 years in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Austria, at schools including the International School of Kuala Lumpur, International School Bangkok, and Vienna International School. Her qualifications include the following: Master of Teaching, Master of Counselling, and Master of Educational Leadership. Laura has been a teacher, Activities Director, Assistant Principal, and High School Principal. Outside of the classroom, she has been a Varsity Softball, Debate, Public Speaking and Model United Nations Coach. Her interests are Biology and Science, Learning Support, Academic Mentoring, supporting all students across a spectrum of learning and well-being needs, and supporting LGBTQ students. Laura has now co-founded Lighthouse Learning and Consulting to reach students and schools in Australia and across the world.
Laura provides individual online student mentoring and tutoring sessions, as well as teacher mentoring sessions.
Laura also provides services for schools seeking to review policies and procedures for a variety of Student Support Services, including Learning Support and Counseling Services.
